6. Where an employee is re-employed in the federal public service fewer than 6 months from ceasing to participate in this plan or within such longer period as may be determined jointly by the Treasury Board of Canada and Retraite Québec, the service credited to the employee may be transferred to the federal pension plan in accordance with the transfer agreement applicable to him.
